    EdTechs and SD/CSR commitments at the heart of EM Normandie's strategic projects

    On 15 November 2022, EM Normandie set out its roadmap for the coming months with two major innovations. Firstly, the building of its new, EdTech-based learning model to enhance the student experience, which will require significant investment, and secondly the implementation of a structured action plan to become an organisation with a positive social and environmental impact by 2030, led by the new Social and Environmental Impact Direction (DISE), which is at the heart of EM Normandie’s School for Good engagement strategy. Elian Pilvin, Dean and Director General, also presented key figures for 2022-23 and reiterated EM Normandie’s position, underlining its ambition to become the number one world-class French higher education institution for teaching and post-Baccalaureate research.

    Paul David Richard Griffiths is Professor of Finance and Academic Director of the M2/MSc Banking, Finance & Fintech taught on the Oxford campus of EM Normandie. His book “Corporate Governance in the Knowledge Economy – Lessons from Case studies in the Finance Sector” published by Palgrave Macmillan, addresses the new challenges of business management.

    Sylvaine Castellano appointed Dean of Faculty and Research for EM Normandie

    Current EM Normandie Dean of Research Sylvaine Castellano is now also Dean of Faculty. Sylvaine is a lecturer and researcher with nearly 20 years of experience in French business schools. This wider remit is therefore the natural next step in her career. She replaces Sarah Alves, Dean of Faculty since 2016 who, having reached the end of her term, is now focusing on research.

    EM Normandie introduces a 2-year Master of Science course (certified 5-year post-Baccalaureate degree) and three new MSc programmes accredited by the Conference des Grandes Ecoles

    From September 2022, EM Normandie will be offering a 2-year Master of Science course in international management, equivalent to 5 years’ post-Baccalaureate study, certified by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and three 1-year MSc programmes: "Sustainable Business Strategy", "Digital Strategy and Innovation" and "Digital Marketing and Sales" which have just been accredited by the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE). These prestigious courses, taught in English, are open to French students with a general background wishing to specialise, those seeking to retrain and international students keen to acquire new skills in France. EM Normandie offers a wide range of innovative programmes to prepare future professionals for the challenges of tomorrow.

    EM Normandie is launching a BBA (Bachelor’s in Business Administration), a 4-year post-baccalaureate programme in English that will be international and spread across multiple campuses

    EM Normandie is launching a BBA programme at the start of the academic year in September 2022. This 4-year Bachelor’s in Business Administration will be taught, entirely in English, at the campuses of Paris, Oxford and Dubai. The French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) has authorised EM Normandie to issue a Bac+4-level qualification and the degree of bachelor for this programme, beginning on 1 September 2022.
    The BBA is available to holders of a French baccalaureate qualification via the Parcoursup platform and to international students who hold a foreign degree of an equivalent level.Le BBA est accessible aux titulaires d’un baccalauréat français via la plateforme Parcoursup et aux étudiants internationaux titulaires d’un diplôme étranger de niveau équivalent.

    EM Normandie signs two memoranda of understanding with Vietnam for training programmes of excellence

    On the occasion of the visit to Paris by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the beginning of November, the EM Normandie delegation, represented by its President Jean-Louis Grégoire and its Managing Director Elian Pilvin, met the Vietnamese authorities in order to formalise their mutual understanding. Two memoranda were thus exchanged and signed in the presence of the Prime Minister.
