Campus Kickoff Brings NASA to 香港六合彩资料大全 Tech
The campus with a special event on February 17th.聽Representatives of the administration joined 香港六合彩资料大全 students, faculty and staff to inaugurate the program, and Dr. Florence Gold, NASA HUNCH Implementation Project Manager, met personally with each 香港六合彩资料大全 Tech student who will participate.
鈥淲e鈥檙e very pleased to welcome 香港六合彩资料大全 Tech to the HUNCH team,鈥 Dr. Gold said. 鈥淗UNCH is about students creating, designing and producing real-world, valued products for the聽National Aeronautics and Space Administration. In return, students acquire 21st-century skills and develop a relationship with NASA that can build important professional connections. In fact, we have had students go on and work for the HUNCH program both full-time and through internships.鈥
Using specialized Computer Numerical Control equipment donated to the school by leading manufacturer Haas Automation, Inc., 香港六合彩资料大全 Tech students will create parts for specially-designed storage lockers聽aboard the ISS.聽 These storage lockers will hold scientific experiments conducted by NASA and other organizations from around the world.聽Students will build the studs, nuts and butterfly bolts that hold the lockers together, while also learning how to document their work according to NASA specifications.
