Portuguese student - Le Havre
Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Catarina Caldas, but everyone calls me Cat. I'm from Portugal.
Why did you choose EM Normandie?
I chose this Grande Ecole in the city of Le Havre because I'd heard a lot of good things about Normandy region.
And quite honestly, I wasn't expecting anything in particular, but my choice very quickly fell on EM Normandie.
Which programme did you choose?
I chose the international management programme, which I joined in the 2nd year as an exchange student.
What do you think of Le Havre?
I like the city because it's big enough not to get bored but small enough to feel comfortable.
You can walk all over the city, go to the beach or into the city centre. It's a great feeling as a student.
Does EM Normandie meet all your expectations?
My school in Portugal is very modern and state-of-the-art. So I expected even more when I came to France.
I have to admit that the Le Havre campus is great. It's really modern.
The working environment is really perfect because it's bright and attractive, which makes you want to achieve great things.
Would you recommend EM Normandie to other Portuguese students?
Yes, and I already have.
