Automotive Service Technology
Excellent repair skills are built on a strong understanding of automotive technical knowledge. An individual that develops these skills becomes an essential resource to the automotive industry and its millions upon millions of customers. With 1,200 hours of instruction, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« Tech’s Automotive Service Technology program readies the graduate with the knowledge and shop experience needed to enter the repair industry as a competent entry-level mechanic. This diploma program is available in day, afternoon and evening schedules.
Automotive Service Management
The Automotive Service Management program is designed to create knowledgeable communications between the mechanic and the consumer. Courses are tailor-fit to teach individuals the skills needed to understand the customer’s concerns and translate them into a diagnosis. The curriculum also teaches how to use that diagnosis to estimate the cost of repairing the vehicle, and to manage the repair process from start to finish. With 1,920 hours of instruction, this program is packed with hands-on technical training, as well as service shop management procedures. The graduate of this program earns an Associate degree in Automotive Service Management. The program is available in day and afternoon classes.
