Diesel Technology Training Program Highlights
As an aspiring Diesel Technician, hands-on training plays a critical role in your education. A Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« Tech program gives you the chance to:
- Perform a complete disassembly and assembly of a diesel engine.
- Complete tune-ups and perform wheel alignments on tractors and trailers using computerized equipment.
- Complete tune-ups, as well as perform wheel alignments to tractors and trailers using computerized equipment.
- Service, repair and replace the components of truck suspension systems and frames.
- Learn how to identify, locate and diagnose the components of truck brake systems, including hydraulic, air-over-hydraulic or air brake systems.
- Service and repair diesel fuel systems such as the Common Rail System, Detroit Diesel Electronic Controls (DDEC), Caterpillar EUI and others.
- Train inside A/C and Electrical Accessories classrooms where you’ll find simulators such as starting/charging systems, power windows, locks and other electrical systems found in today’s modern trucks.
- Train and apply for positions with companies and manufacturers who specialize in diesel-powered machines, off-road construction equipment and trucks2.
- Plus, diesel technology training classes at our Denver, CO, East Windsor, CT, Grand Prairie, TX, Nashville, TN, and South Plainfield, NJ campuses are taught by ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified instructors - so you know you're learning from highly-qualified professionals.
