The State of New York, and the New York Metropolitan area in particular, are one of the most vibrant and busy markets in the nation for both electricians and electrical systems technicians. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ´óÈ« Tech’s electrical school combines high-voltage electrical and low-voltage electronic systems technology into one program that helps maximize your career possibilities when you graduate. The Electrical and Electronic Systems Technology (EEST) program is designed to help you enter what the U.S. Department of Labor has designated a Green Increased Demand occupation. Combined, New Jersey and nearby New York predict almost 76,000 job openings in the field through 20302.
Graduates of the EEST program can pursue positions as entry-level electrician apprentices, or go to work for a contractor that specializes in electronic systems installation and maintenance. Both have a wide range of career possibilities helping residential customers with cable and satellite TV installations, home theater setup, and whole home electronics.
