EM Normandie signs a cooperation agreement with Dubai's Mena College of Management

EM Normandie signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Mena College of Management (MCM) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), in the presence of Ms Raja Rabia, the Consul General of France in Dubai and His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, Director of the Office of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum. Both institutions were represented by Dr Jean-Christophe Hauguel, the EM Normandie Deputy Director General and Dean of Programmes and Dr Khaireddine Mouakhar, the Director of Middle East Projects and Professor Nabil El Kadhi, the President of the Mena College of Management.
This partnership focuses on the development of pedagogical cooperation and student exchange (for semesters or full years) at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. The two institutions are about to launch two Bachelors of Business Administration (4-year BBAs) in Digital Business and Innovation & Entrepreneurship, together with two Masters of Science in Data Analytics, Banking & Fintech and Tourism & International Events Management ».&²Ô²ú²õ±è;
These programmes, taught in English and co-supervised by both partners, should be offered as from the Academic Year 2019-2020. They deal with the expertise developed by EM Normandie in Entrepreneurship, Digital Management, Tourism and Events….) and are most relevant to the training needs in the UAE territories. Courses, which will be taught by lecturers-researchers from EM Normandie, are calibrated for local issues in order to match the business world needs. Students will be recruited by MCM and degrees awarded jointly by the two partner institutions.
The exchange agreement provides the opportunity for the EM Normandie Grande Ecole programme to take Year 2 of their 5-year Master’s in any of the Mena College of Management Bachelor programmes. As for MCM students they will be able to spend a full year on the EM Normandie Le Havre Campus to take Year 3 of the Bachelor in International Management – International Business option.

Dubai offers many advantages in our view: this is a city with a very dynamic economy and a choice destination for our students thanks to such excellent institutions as the Mena College of Management,’ EM Normandie Director General Jean-Guy Bernard declared.
‘We are glad to enter into this cooperation agreement with EM Normandie, a Grande Ecole which enjoys international reputation and will be our sole French partner. Thanks to this agreement, we will be in a position to award in Dubai Double Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees accredited by the Academic Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Education,’ Professor Nabil El Kadhi, the President of the Mena College of Management declared.
Thanks to this agreement, EM Normandie is able to strengthen its links with the Middle East where it already exchanges with the American University in The Emirates in Dubai, the American University of Sharjah (AACSB accredited), the Institute of Management Technology in Dubai as well as with the College of Business Administration at Kuwait University (AACSB accredited) through agreements on student exchange at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels and on double-degrees with IMT Dubai.
